The mission of the Wallet Hospital is to provide financial guidance to low-income individuals, in particular people of color.
Traditionally, people of color face an economic disadvantage. According to research done by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System from 2016, in the United States white families have a median wealth of $171,000, in comparison to black and Hispanic families who have a median wealth of $17,600 and $20,700, respectively.
I am hoping to address this gap and create economic mobility in the communities that need it.
